Random story about Philly:

We had an AAU basketball tournament in Philly one summer when I was like 13 or 14. My team of suburban white kids was clearly outmatched by every single team we played. I'm convinced our coach just wanted an excuse to visit Philly with the other kids parents (all our parents were friends). I remember one team had dudes that were already being looked at by colleges who were straight up dunking on us all game. Like 6'6"-6'10" black kids. We were down 40-6 at half time. I've never seen our coach so mad at half time and I'll never forget the first thing he yelled in the locker room, "YOU'RE PLAYING LIKE A BUNCH OF SCARED WHITE KIDS!!!" It was hilarious because we were all white and we were all scared as ****

I went to drexel....a little bit better area...but living off campus could be detrimental. I had my car broken into twice....window smashed out both times...had a friend robbed at gun point...
