Man, F this..
Good luck man. Usually I need a break means there is some one else. And it just leads to a break up. Hopefully your situation works out and that isn't the case.I really want to get back with my ex and I think she'll decide that too once she has time to think or whatever. But, I believe that if you break up with someone you should mean it, otherwise, you try to work it out. I've always tried to work things out with her first and that's why I'm so shocked she ended it just like that without an explanation. She said she was confused and needed time alone to think. I don't believe in taking breaks either but I'm giving this situation a pass since I was temporarily living with her and I know she just needed time apart to think things through without me there. At first I thought it was just the difficulty of two people living in a small studio apartment together. But now I realize what set her off. I wish I could take back what I said. Guess I'll see what's up at the 4th of July party.
.....sucks. I don't think I'm doing any work today, I'll just sit here and veg out on NT and reminiscing about good summer memories I had as a kid (does it mean I'm losing it already?
). My body is already on vacation and I can't break it, minus whale not fight it *shrugs*When did Ashanti get that mass?
Sheesh!!

Man, F this..
Beh, where was that?
I was about to do dishes and clean up a bit when she got home from work. I had been doing chores around her place and keeping everything nice how she liked it like I wasn't even living there. Unfortunately, I burnt the dinner that I was making for her to come home to. I spend like an hour prepping and cooking it for nothing so I was frustrated and didn't do the dishes right away I just wanted to relax. Well, when she got home and saw the mess (which I was about to clean), she also had a letter from her apartment complex saying how they were coming to appraise all the rooms the next day. She FREAKED on me because it was such a mess, yelling at me for no reason when I was about to clean it. It got so intense that I blurted out, "this is why I'm not going to marry you. Because you're going to turn into your mom once I do." Man that comment hit her hard. I told her I didn't mean it but I could tell it really hurt her. I think that's what started all this. What did you say?

Damn...she's still emotional that's all.I was about to do dishes and clean up a bit when she got home from work. That was Friday. Then remember when I was posting here Saturday night when she broke up with me? If you don't a quick recap:
-she came home with Dominos pizza and wing bites for us
-she told me she didn't think we should be together anymore
-she asked if I was still going to meet her out after her sorority function
-I killed a 6 pack of Becks, went to two bars by myself near where she was going out and had 3 more beers and a fireball shot, puked 5 times after the shot then felt better
-I meet up at the party she was at and she disappears with her friend, leaves me with her friends boyfriend, he was cool as hell we just chopped it up until they got back
-the 4 of us go to bars together and have a great time
-we go back to her place and she gets in lingerie, we smash for a long time and I thought we made up
-wake up in the morning she doesn't kiss me goodbye before work, doesn't say she loves me
-calls me from work and tells me to pack my stuff and move out because she needs a few days to think
-haven't talked to her since a few texts on Sunday
Great advice. I'm no simp man I know how to handle this situation. When she broke up with me I was in the middle of a NBA2K13 game with my boy (paused it to eat dinner) and when she told me I just said "ok". Ate dinner quietly then went right back to playing my game when she was getting ready to go out. She kept asking me what outfit looked better and whatever one she brought out I'd just say "that's good" and not even look at itGive her the cold turkey treatment. If you let her lean on you while she's still deciding, she won't get an accurate depiction of what life will be without you. That doesn't mean you should outright ignore her if she calls or texts or anything, but don't speak with her on a regular basis from now until that July 4th party. Don't look miserable either. Just live your life. My experience is that when girls want to "take a break" and/or "think" about a relationship, they're really just trying to keep you in the lurch so they can wean themselves off of you while still having your support during the process. If you don't want that to happen, the best way to settle it is to not let them lean against you. If you've already apologized earnestly then that's it, don't apologize anymore. If it comes to July 4th and she's still on the edge, just tell her that you love her but you can't wait anymore. Tell her that you want to be with her, but if it's over for her then it's over for her, and no amount of pushing you do will change that so it's best you try to move on. This is probably one of the realest things you can say, and it'll make her really evaluate how much you mean to her while also making her realize how much she may need you in her life. She also may realize she doesn't want you in her life, in which case it works out the best for both parties, even if it hurts you.
I told my roommate to do this same thing, and he's been with his girl another 8 months or so. Only reason I realized this was the right way to think about it is because I DIDN'T think this way when I needed to, and it ended poorly![]()

You're JUST figuring this out?Rick Rolling aside, "Never Gonna Give You Up" is kind of fire.. I remember first hearing it, thought he was Black.![]()
I'm already doing it man. The last text I sent her Sunday was, "I'll give you the time to yourself. You can get in touch with me when you're ready. I won't be contacting you any more. I still love you but I'm going to take this time to do some thinking of my own. If you decide you still want to be together I'm not sure if I'll be here for you any more"Dude, after reading this post (guess we were writing around the same time) I'd definitely suggest doing what I said above. Sounds exactly what I went through with my ex, and what my roommate and his girl were going through. Just because you smashed does NOT mean you made up at all. She's actually probably going to let you hit a few more times. It's because she's still comfortable with you, but at the same time she's slowly removing you from herself. And the more you push to be with her and make things "right", the more she's going to keep pushing away. Honestly, just try what I said man. Right now you're definitely on your way to a permanent break up, so if you try something else at least you have a chance of working it out. I just hate to see it happen to someone else because I can tell you really care about your girl (as I did), but the way you're handling it isn't going to get her back. I know from personal experience.
