haven't listened to illadelph or things fall apart in a long time

Yorkie and Terrier mix. I've never held a brand new puppy. He barely covered 70% of my hand.

nice. i might get a dog like that in the near future. cant do big dogs too much responsibility with thier well being. the german shepard my brother in law got big really fast. still has a puppy brain.

Friend of mine got a pit. Barely a year old and that thing is huge. Still has a newborn mindset. Couldn't do it.

don't know how many of yall know this...

the domestication process leaves the adult animal in a perpetual state of mental adolescence
mentally - they never reach full development - if they did - the natural wild instincts that are "bred out" would switch on

Where is that from?

i read a report on how some germans successfully domesticated foxes in 10 generations (for the most part & they chose foxes cause they are easy)

and they fully explained the domestication process
those wild instincts aren't really bred out of the genetic code - they just can never reach the full mental development to switch them on
thats how domestication initially works in practice, this also accounts for physical adaptation - why are pets are so cute
