by the way - they had to "go through" many foxes as one can imagine
i won't go into the specifics of the process too much - but they did set up a fur coat company to make use of the abundance of pelts
basically they had to breed selected ones and destroy all others...and the selected ones are rare at first...yall get it...
but the foxes changed physically as well as mentally - like their ears got less pointy or flopped over like you see in a lot of dog breeds...as the generations progressed into domestication

Does remind me of how a lot of the current breeds are almost mentally or physically ******ed because of the inbreeding that has happen over the generations to keep certain characteristics or body types. Like how pugs faces are getting flatter which is making it harder for them to breath

i was talking more literally tho but yes i thought about the metaphor - like - 'domesticating' humans - after a while - they would even

so two things i take away:
the germans were able to manipulate the foxes much faster than most might expect (10 generations)
also - this is a commentary on domestication -
we humans pretty much created the pet dogs & cats, etc that we have around - we created them out of our natural environment
therefore it is our duty to care for them - we took on the responsibilty
this is why i have such a problem with animal abuse

im sure dogs get emotionally attached to their pups like human does to a new born baby. they have feelings too.
ill get a pup when its time a ready for it to leave its mother. maybe once i get my apartment.

The german shepard in taken care of he’s just chilling today at the office doing some work.

Without humans breeding certain traits, I'm positive the toy dogs wouldn't exist. No way those ****** lasting in the wild
