the thread about nothing...

My year was a 6/10 a lot of ups and downs but it smoothed out twords the end. I could complain but I won’t. Excited and a little shook about 2018. Have a feeling it might get hectic again.

Nike.com running the stupid sale right now 25% off on already discounted items.

about pull out the CC and rack up on some Lebrons, and other stuff. I was gonna chill out but this sale is too good to miss.

I’ll give my year a solid 5.5/8

I can’t fully rate it a 8 until I am completely out of debt. Making progress tho. Got a new gig and am settling into being back in America after many years of living abroad.

Feel slightly out of balance though. Feel a fundamental shift of friends becoming more distant and everyone starting to act much more serious due to perceived necessity of it as we grow up. Don’t feel the enjoyment of life as fully. Gotta meditate or reflect that on that.

I'm glad to read the positivity in all yall posts.

2017 was mostly a down yr for me. If it weren't for my vacations and getting to leave NY for a little while and my better than average Thanksgiving weekend, it wouldn't even be a 6/10.

2018 should be a major shake up in my usual day to day routine. Looking forward to new things and new ppl.

Ruth's Chris is overrated for the price. Nowadays I just hit Outback or this local steakhouse for a ribeye and call it a day. I'm trying to cut back on the red meat though too.

I lost 40 pounds by doing this, I would eat red meat maybe once or twice month instead of every week. That **** works man

gotta eat in moderation...losing weight is all about calories in vs calories out.
red meat tends to be high in calories vs chicken when measured in volume.

Only way man. Only up from here

I just think about how those fools wanted me in a box, im supposed to be sitting in a cage eating soup out of a cup right now. **** all that, its money time. Back to the basics

Easily the most disgusting chips in mankind.

This has been a challenging year, so much so that it's hard to rate it. My son was born in the beginning of the year which would make it 20/10 but work has been so stressful and I've never had so many anxiety attacks this year then I've had my whole life. I hate taking the pills but there's times when I give in knowing that they could help.

Year was about a 5/10, didnt travel as much as I wanted too or at all for that matter. Think I'm coming to a realization that I wont ever get married or have planned kids (accidents happen). Also getting tired of living in baltimore.

For next year I'm about to get on my grind, either finish my degree or get up on these certs so I can get another job cause my current IT gig ain't cutting it no more. I did reconnect with two of my closes homies and I think I'm finally adjusted to living on my own (Got nicer in the kitchen). Also need to get back in the gym so I can get back to my football weight. Im more than halfway there though

if work is stressing you out like that, get out now before its too late. Is it the workload or is it the people you work with? im an accountant and the work sucks but the people that i work with makes it MUCH more bearable.

Absolutely, try my best to eat poultry or fish and increased my vegetable (Atleast 2 salads a week for lunch) intake as much as I can. I also stopped getting the biggest size of everything when I go out (Glad I stopped doing that ****). I aint even realize it till I stepped on a scale, but everyone around me kept noticing it. I just didn't pay it any mind

There's still some days left to rate.

The last week of '17 is work and sleep. Hopefully I have work on the 31st or the 1st for that time and a half. Even if I'm not, I'm turning down all turn up invites. Gonna be me, some curry goat, and some Guinness. Maybe some black cake soaked in rum if it's available. Gonna end this year quietly.

I think I'm actually done with steak for the time being...

Used to be a semi regular at Ruth Chris but lately when I go I haven't been enjoying it as much

Last time I didn't even finish my steak

This makes me sad. Ruth's is my place and I'm going there Friday in Memphis. I only go 4 or 5 times a year on the account I live in the middle of nowhere.
