The Walking Dead - Official Thread

I don't know if i can handle the stupidity of the Characters on the show.  Yea this zombie stuff is all new to them, but they know plenty by now that they should be aware enough to not do stupid crap like i saw in this newest episode

-leave the house and leave the sliding door wide open

-oh look, a man is eating a dog in my living room, let me walk up and investigate this

-constantly going up to walkers thinking they can talk some sense into them

so many

 moments

old hispanic dude is the only sensible character on the show.  Druggy kid kind of too, at least he realizes what the walkers are
This is one of my biggest pet peeves with this show. It beyond frustrating to watch them make these stupid mistakes as if they have never seen walkers in action before. Same thing goes for the cops during the unrest scenes, they keep shooting the walkers in the body but it does nothing. The only people that get it are the soldiers from the last episode.

But they haven't seen walkers before. It has been told plenty of times that there are zombie movies in this universe. It hasn't even been a full week since the full outbreak. Obviously some are starting to get it. But most don't know anything yet. You have to be on the characters mindset not the walking dead mindset from when Rick woke up and Morgan explained everything

They have seen them multiple times in this show already. Enough to know that they should probably stop walking up and trying to reason with them

regardless of if they have seen or havent seen. you dont have to have knowledge of the issue to be cautious of someone acting weird. if you are acting crazy or looking sickly best believe i'm not even letting you close enough to breathe the same air i'm breathing. They would've caught the hands quick as ****, friend or not, soon as you start acting crazy, i'm on guard. These people aren't even realistic. Zero survival instinct.

maybe OG sees how bush league they are and wants no part of their shenanigans.

Madison is the only one that has seen more then one walker and yes she is starting to realize. Travis saw one and that was drug dealer Calvin. So is just human of him to say we don't know if they're sick or dead and they don't. No one has said anything to them. I'm not going to sit here and say if I saw my best bud sick I'm going to immediately stab him in the head. The only character I can't stand in this show is the daughter. Who elbows someone when they just save you. That makes no sense

I'm thinking maybe I find some of their ideas and decisions regarding the walkers stupid because I have the mindset of what they are and what you're not suppose to do with walkers.

Maybe I need to understand that they really know so little about what's happening.

Oh yeah, I still don't understand why the military deployed in their neighborhood. What's the strategy behind that?

If all of this was going down, and then you walk in your house to find a crazy man eating a dog, you would walk up and try to talk to him?

Lol you're good fam. But yeah they have no zombies or zombie movies in TWD universe. It's somewhat understandable that they don't believe what's going on is really going on. At the same time, it's just unreal how they are not more cautious.

That's not true. Travis has seen at least three walkers up until this last episode. The first is the drug dealer, second is the walker on the freeway, the third is the walker from the riot where his son was being part of "history". These don't include the 3 to 4 walkers from this past episode. I understand they don't quite get it just yet and I'm sure if I was in their shoes I would probably trying to help people too but there are also human instincts that kick in that let you know something isn't right.

:lol

It's safe to say that the downfall of the show will be that this is a prequel.

Too many "How can they?" comments.

This is the only thing that has baffled me, hopefully they clarify this in the next episode. It has to be that someone tipped them off, they knew exactly where to go and who to kill.

The way the characters are reacting to the plague is how 98% of the general population will react. You hardcore zombie survivalist though, you guys are in your bunker by now.

The walker one on the freeway on the first episode if you're talking about doesn't count cause they saw it on a news report. No one had no idea what was happening at the time. The one with his son was already dead by the time they got to the protest. And his ex was the one that saw the cover come off. Now yes I'm pretty sure he did see the cop grab the guy as they were escaping the barber shop

The military thing makes sense if the military is occupying the entire city block by block. Martial law type deal. If they make it specific to that neighborhood then yeah that wouldn't make sense

I'm just wondering why son still got the clothes on he stole from the hospital.

Aren't you home, dude? That's nasty AF.

He's too concerned about his medicine to worry about clothes
Yeah, but still he was in the house for atleas 24 hours. Take a shower you bum. Your drugs will still be there when you get back.

the irony that he would have the most survival skills and instinct out of anyone despite the need to shove poison in his veins. He's been killing himself for years but now he has the strongest natural instinct to stay alive lol. Writers b lol.

Shower or no shower, ain't no justification for this foolishness.

Dem ain't your clothes b and you're at home.

My wife said the same thing! :rollin

She was like "why the hell does he still have the same damn clothes on?!? it was the old man's clothes AND he vomited on it! WTH?!"

:lol

maybe he is confortable? let that man worry abot the zombies. ill be too scared to take a shower also

Dude is a junkie who is more comfortable in a crack house than his mom's crib, that's why he hasn't changed clothes or showered.

He'd rather be homeless with his heroin than be at home. If walkers weren't introduced he would still be in the church getting high in the same clothes.
