I’m not a native Spanish speaker but I speak it at about a B2 level and improving.

I don’t know if my mind is playing tricks on me but I swear I hear hints of French in his Spanish at times.

A little French proficiency would definitely contribute to his Spanish sounding more fluid and natural compared to most gringos.

Curious what any native speakers hear.

Abel’s spanish is a solid 7/10, it’s understandable but many english artists attempting spanish pronounce their ‘T’ where it should be a soft ‘th’ (if that makes sense)
