Yea less Pelicans until Zion establishes he can play on the regular....Showcase any of the other young stars that’s always in the lineup

TC already open for the non bubble teams. TC opens for everyone else after Thanksgiving and Tip off on Chrimah
A Xmas start would be tough...Besides training camp gotta deal with offseason transactions in like a month, don’t see how teams would want to handle draft/trades/free agency from just Halloween to Thanksgiving pretty much

A Christmas start to the next season would be particularly rough for the Heat and Lakers. I’m sure those teams (or most of the people associated with them) will want more time to recuperate from the bubble.

I’m pretty sure I once heard Halsey say in an interview that LA was a trash place, but that was a long time ago. Perhaps she’s realized the error of her ways.

Also, the first week of October 2007 - reports were that the Lakers were in active discussions with the Bulls to send Kobe to Chicago for a package that included Ben Gordon. Some say the deal was pretty close to happening. Wild to think how that deal might have altered NBA history had it gone through.
