Never understood the reasoning behind this fake bubble they’re going with. Should’ve kept the teams isolated and played games in their own arenas.

The Orlando bubble idea made some sense back in April, when they were talking about resuming play in June while everything was still mostly closed. Stopped making sense once things reopened in Florida.

Never liked it. One positive test, and you’re potentially exposing the entire league. If you kept teams at home, you’d at least be able to limit exposure to that single team and have them forfeit games. Chances of spreading the virus increase while inside the bubble.

Really don't see things getting any better in Florida.

Look how long it took for NY to get the curve down

Not really. The concept of an actual bubble is good. What the NBA is trying to do isn't a 'bubble' though. Having players interact is inevitably going to cause people to contract the virus. And them being at home and/or having to travel theoretically exposes them to more people and would require even more strenuous protocols than the league is doing right now.

They all couldn't give up that bread though.

What the hell wrong with Florida man lmao

I could explain it, but this does a much better job. Very NSFW, btw (language). I'll go ahead and post Part 1 underneath. Actually, you should just go to the YouTube channel. That is Florida.

The bubble is just a way for the nba to say hey you somehow contracted the virus we have all these measurements in place you can’t sue us

They can come "voluntarily" but if enough of them don't we're ripping up the collective bargaining agreement -NBA owners (ps. We may still do it anyway).

It is voluntary. Unions strike every day, b. They had options.

Yea, but it would be limited to a single team or player. This fake bubble they have is a ticking time bomb. Only a matter of time before an outbreak shuts it down.
