How is the NBA risking anything when Russ caught the Rona outside the bubble?
Its gonna be fine dudes, relax. If everyone follows guidelines and remember they get tested daily, how can you get the Rona in the bubble, when everybody gonna be Rona free?
The bubble is the safest place on earth probably

"It's gonna be fine" seems like an odd way of characterizing something that seems to be getting progressively worse

Also, it's not a bubble.

How does the NBA and NBA owners make money in the bubble? Is it all through ESPN and TNT TV contracts?

No money in ticket sales and everything that comes in a stadium.

X-Transbots MX Series Berserkars / Monolith (Stunticons/Menasor ...

People think ok cool once you're positive 7-10 days later you'll be negative and everything is gravy.

There are short term effects that can last up to a month and long term effects that can kill you. If players are actually exhibiting symptoms then are expected to come in and play 30+ minutes in a playoff game, yea idc how great of a shape you're in or what diet you're on, thats not happening.

Cancel the season.
Cancel next season.
Shorten the season after that.
Consider an 82 game season in 2022

Covid-19 can literally give you brain damage

It’s funny how the info has been coming out. Not suggesting it’s planned that way, but a funny coincidence

First some international big all-stars no one cares about like Rudy and Jokic

Now Westbrook

If Harden has it I wonder why they don’t announce it in tandem, or they trying to less the shock and spread it out.

What would happen if Lebron/Giannis/Kawhi get it?

Russ caught the rona outside the bubble. Players in it are gonna be safer than any of us outside. I really dont see a problem here unless players start catching it while playing.
Have some faith. What's the alternative? Some of you would be ok with canceling the next 2 seasons. Even if they did cancel it, players will be catching it so I dont get what yall want

Considering Florida is the epicenter of the world and employees will still have contact with the players in some way, it's just not worth a title no one will care about.

It's not a bubble. A bubble would imply the people inside it aren't leaving and the people outside of it aren't coming in. That's not what's happening there. It's also a hot spot, so there's a good chance they're exposed to Disney employees who are positive and asymptomatic, have themselves been exposed, etc.

Also, how do you know they're safer than us? Some people are still sitting at home collecting unemployment having minimal contact with others.

NBA almost waiting to see who's gonna be the sacrificial lamb before they cancel it. Plenty of older coaches and NBA staff there.

I still think it's the hardest title to win with no home court advantage. All you need is 1 star player to test positive in any round and this whole thing is a wash.

Imagine a game 7 scenario of Lakers vs Bucks and Bron tests positive the night before the game. All hell will break loose.

NBA said call it a campus instead of a bubble where they still don't have regular testing protocols for workers 2 weeks out and who will be able to come and go as they please while also being in the park that decided to open up this past when as cases continue to skyrocket.

Even if somebody catches it there, they don't plan on stopping. Nor do they have any plan if there's an outbreak inside.
