But I always thought PR would do well in the box office if it's treated the same way as Transformers and GI Joe was treated.

A Power Rangers movie would be kinda pointless for the studio though because the show gets all their action footage from the Japan version of the show, so if an American studio has to use money to shoot all their own action footage for a movie, then they might as well make a new franchise that they completely own
And if they just used Japanese footage, it would just be a long *** episode of the regular show lol
