Thoughts on the Johnathon Martin - Ritchie Incognito situation?

Even if Jonathan Martin had been able to handle the situation and didn't crack, there's enough to kick Incognito off the team for his actions alone.

He stated multiple times that he felt he had to hang out with them, because offensive lineman are expected to be together as a unit and he couldn't afford to be ostracized.

Basically, there was no way for him to avoid interacting with Incognito/Pouncey/etc for as long as he was employed by the Dolphins. That's why this is considered harrassment, he was subjected to a hostile work environment every single day and had no recourse.

He didn't have to hang out with them, he could have rolled alone like he probably has most of his life. Jmart ain't just soft, hes way worse. If he stood up for himself just once all this crap wouldn't have transpired. If he didn't learn that by now he's never going to learn

Some of the stuff in the report is down right hilarious. Pure gold, jerry, pure gold. 

I think the biggest problem was that JM didn't engage back with them., NOT fight them. If he would've fired some crazy ignorant disrespectful stuff right back at Richie and Co. they would've laughed it off and he would've been "part of the crew" more or less.
