Just came across this while browsing Beernews.org. I didn't find anything when I searched the forum either. Seems like some pretty serious stuff that effects all of us within this community. The government is trying to censor what's posted on websites like Niketalk.

about time, could have prevented this occupy nonsense along with the bs illumanti talk, 9/11 conspiracies, Aliens crap, and prevented the evil wiki-leak people from trying to tarnish the good American name

Free internet is gonna be a thing of the past soon. Seems like whenever a bad proposal gets voted down another pops up. These internet companies are lobbying hard to screw the people for profit. The internet's future doesn't look too good.
 
This page really has +$%@@% 10 post 10..... I guess when these same people ban you from DL music or the porn yall survive too than maybe people will get mad
 
That's stupid and it sounds very unconstitutional. But, most people don't care and that's the sad part. Too bad it will probably be too late when people take notice.

everything you could want is there. surface web for normal browsing, TOR for everything else.
 
Its really upsetting its like nobody cares about anything affecting them these days do you know the amount of information that will now be controlled by the internet if these big companies take this over too
 
How do apps correlate to the internet? Wouldn't one be able to use them as a workaround if censorship did occur?

What kind of censorship is going to be done if the bill is passed?

Not from the US so it doesn't affect me.
 
They already do things like this. It just gives me power to destroy wikileaks like things. Just the fact it can effect other things is what ruins this
 
someone somehwere will develop ways to get past the sensorship, kinda how we always figure out how to jailbreak iphones.
