they started off as geek accessories, such as telling time in binary, and then now people are starting to catch on because it's, well, eye-catching.

Okay, please tell me how these are practical? I'd rather go to Macy's and buy a decent watch. These look like some kinda crap you buy and thenyou're embarresed to wear them unless you're walking through SoHo, which is embarrasing anyway.

the whole point of a wrist watch is to tell time by a glance.....a glance, not a freaking 30-second computation. Those things defeat the purpose of a watch byactually wasting the user's time.
