Meh, I could import something clean as hell with a proven engine for less than that. A lot less. That the direction I’m gonna go when I got a little money to blow. Import something clean and stock and make a monster. So many great Japanese cars from the 90s.

Ehh, not surprised how it turned out. Seems like people expected this car to pick up right where it left off 20 yrs ago. Too much time has passed and the car industry has evolved since then. Seeing as this car is part BMW, it just doesn't feel right. I'm sure in time, people will learn to love it.

Idk, there are a lot of importers already in the us selling titled cars ready to go.
You can get a real clean r32 gts-t for like 15k. It’s not a gtr but it’s still a sick car that can handle 400hp stock.

But is this the actual retail style? I figured it’s the usual funky prototype they usually show before the actual production styling is more subdued.
I was hoping the next Z would’ve been announced by now and 2121 is gonna be when my kids will be old enough that I can buy another Coupe for myself. It’s always nice to have options.

I’m sure it will sell but not to the fans of the original car. I’m thinking we’re gonna see a lot more imported cars in my age group (31) all the cars we wanted as kids are turning 25 or already are.
The people who grew up playing gran turismo want r32-4, fc, fd, supras, Silvia, 300zx etc.
I don’t see anyone my age wanting this honestly. It’s gonna be older people who want a reliable quick car.

Stock vs stock the new Supra will be faster than the mk4.
The beauty of the mk4 was you could tune it to like 800hp on stock internals.

Man it’s like this car was designed in a 3qtr View, and the designer disregarded how it’ll look forward, side, and back. It looks good in a certain angle and totally different in another view, and different in a bad way. It almost looks like a Frankenstein car; Enzo nose, gtr roof, viper back, all crammed in a brz frame.
I can’t predict the feel of the performance, but the numbers, price, and appearance doesn’t look $50k
