I recently spent the weekend in Rahway, NJ for my nieces' 1st birthday, and driving, in general, was something else.

Lol New York drivers are terrible in the city and even worse outside of it. When I used to commute on the turnpike every day whenever I'd get stuck behind someone going 55 in the left lane totally oblivious I'd say 8/10 New York plates. So used to playing second fiddle to taxis they have no idea what to do once they get some space.
