And its not even close...Been slappin White Van Music for a couple weeks now its dope, no doubt about it so when Tronic leaked i was juiced and wondering if itwould compare...

Miles ahead of Jake One's piece...some straight up BOOM BAP @@@%, Long Story Short is one of the dopest album intros ive heard in a while, when Dwele comesin on the horns???

two dope albums but i gotta give it to Black Milk

Obviously White Van Music is a NT fav right now and ive seen Black Milk mentioned a few times so i know people are listening to Tronic, which one are you guysfeelin more?

I agree. If White Van Music was condensed into maybe 12-16 tracks I think it'd be up there but as it is Tronic is the better album.

miles ahead? na
i listneed to tronic last nite and it was good but it aint touchin white van, jakes production is a lot more polished imo

production wise they're both good but i gotta go with white van music.

QFT

tronic is MUCH better. 'losing out' is my fav cut. makes you wanna break ****.

I still need to listen to Tronic. Tronic is better than White Van Music? I guess that gives me something to look forwardto.

Miles ahead is obviously an overstatement but i really don't even see how its an argument, Black Milk simply blacked out on this, everything is fire...notto mention when you look at the features on Tronic vs the features on WVM...i repeat myself, WVM was dope but Jake One's superb production aside, thefeatures certainly helped carry the album with Tronic you got Royce, Pharoah, and Sean Price, everyone else is decent to be generous, this really wasBlack's album

My boy just hit me up and told me that Tronic was crazy so Im going to check it out and see whats good

^thats just a fallacy, Popular Demand is fire but sound wise its on the same level as Sound of the City....Black completely evolutionized his whole sound onthis album, he's always been a master of the drums but he went completely beyond that this time around...and there's really no argument when it comesto his rhymes

^ Agreed. I said a few times Black Milk stepped up his production game on Tronic. I think the comparison is tough though because Jake One was making beatstailored for the featured artist, while Black was more focused on creating his own sound. Either way, both albums are dope. Two of the best of the year.

White Van Music is much better imo.. there are 2 legit cuts on Tronic, the intro and the joint with Monch

RockCoKane Flow, Buck The World, Movin On Up> damn near every Black Milk track

I think both were good albums but I feel White Van Music should be compared to Dj Babu's Duck Season 3 more so than Tronic. Those two albums are quitesimilar in content and quality. All in all its about personal preference.

First off, why even compare the two? One dude solely produces, while the other guy produces/raps. I guess I don't see the point of a comparison. Buthey--this is NT, so that said.......

Tronic is better than any album I've heard in '08. Front-to-back, this album is SOLID in the truest sense of the word.

Jake One's joint is NIIIIIICE. But, as already mentioned, if it was condensed down to 15 cuts, it would be that much better IMO.

As far as the "Popular Demand >" argument, hells no. Production wise, Black went berzerker on Tronic. I like dude's flow on the album, butobviously the production is the real meat here. The beats on this album are the type of beats that make you find yourself driving down the street in a zone, just blanking out to the beat. You can't help but nod your head and get lost in the drums.

White Van Music was supposed to rely on features...Jake One doesn't rap.

but as much as Black has stepped up his skills on the mic, i still dont think he could put forth a superb album relying on his skills as an mc...my point wasWhite Van Music's features>Tronics

White Van Music should be compared to the likes of a album like this
