Always thought these looked cool but never owned a pair - did you?
Which was your favourite and which did I forget?

Was just hoping for a Garnett 3 re-retro. I didn’t buy the first retro but I had the black/blue OGs and they were fun to play in recreationally

I highly doubt a retro would feel the same as the OG because most retros haven’t felt like the OGs to me, but strictly speaking on the OG pair I loved them. Felt like a slightly firmer Air Max heel that didn’t feel crazy with the zoom air from what I remember.

Keep in mind I was maybe 12-13 when I had them and they were one of my first Men’s size shoes to hoop in (along with the OG Jordan 14s) but I paid a lot of attention to Nike tech & specs even back then & trust my judgement/memory.

When they retroed the Garnett 3, they went NSW (Nike Sports Wear) route and just put a plain air max bag in the heel. Gave them away immediately. Person I gave them to promptly said after their first wear, what happened to the cushioning in these? Nothing like the original.

The name changed to Nike Air 3 LE and changed details like removing Garnett and OBF details.
Looks odd with max Air unit

Searched for the OG 1999 version but all had fogged up tuned air units and the eastbay catalogue doesn't really show it well either.
This is the best I could find
