WADDUP NT! Long time no see...
First Twitch Custom for 2011!
Description:
This pair is based on one of my favorite basketball movies of all-time, the 1992 film White Men Can't Jump. I decided to go with the Billy Hoyle theme and centered the design around the funky patterned hats that he would wear in the movie. The pattern I painted is loosely based on those patterns except I added my own bits and flair into the mix, but the color palettes are pretty much the same. I know, I know, Billy Hoyle DID NOT wear Reebok Reverse Jams in the film, but I felt like they defined that era a bit more than the Nike Air Flight Lite's he did wear. Billy Hoyle always rocks a duffle bag when he rolls up to the courts in the film, so I figured I'd do the same for the shoes. I went and created a hand stitched mini shoe duffel bag complete with a zipper, handles, and Twitch Customs logo leather badge, so you can roll up to Venice Beach and ball against Eddie "The King" Farouk and Duck Johnson on the blacktop...or at least just carry your shoes there like a G. As with all my customs, these are 100% Hand painted and the bag was handmade from scratch.
