There are some positives about it, but the constant degeneracy is not good for a *****'s mental.
Everyone wanting to be a comedian, porn at every turn, the useless content that gets deposited into your mind
I personally haven't tweeted since February, but I'll occasionally check a profile or two to see wassup.
Maybe I'm just getting old.
 
Joint been dead for 5+ years……

When my account got suspended for a word I used… but then I see the word constantly used and a NUMBER of egregious stuff like the nudity and slurs, I said yeah I’m done.

All of social media is basically 75% sexual imagery, dialogue, raunch, etc. once that became the norm, I knew time was up.

Twitter was trending down before Elon got a hold of it.
 
It’s literally a food and Grindhouse in my feed now.

Maybe says more about me then twitter.
 
Like finessence finessence said Twitter been the same way for atleast 5+ years, once the Tumblr/emo crowd came over & grew up it became less about jokes, just constant think pieces, sensitive responses, & horny ****.

With that said it's the same on every social media platform, & if curated correctly can still be a very valuable place to find interesting things. I just had two create a new profile & completely start over with mostly Art/Photos/History/Animal/Crypto/AI pages. Still have my other one active & it's like two completely different websites :lol:

With that said Twitter is the only SM website that i can't just completely abandon, Still has its extremely funny/helpful moments & it allows me a glimpse into the mindsets of people i tend to stay far away from in real life.
 
I never got into it....even FB....the social media app I spent the most time on has been IG...

same here. twitter is what you make of it and who you follow.

I joined in 2013 and follow a bunch of former NTers. We're all in our 30s now. It's still great for breaking news, sports and worldwide stuff imo. Hell most of the stuff NT gets is from someone on twitter
 
Yeah it's been in decline for years now. I only use it for news and content from REAL content creators and not just some randoms trying to "get engagement" . The clout-chasing era and same recycled topics are a turn-off.

The trolls keep trying get attention and gullible people keep letting them cook. For example, a few weeks ago someone tweeted their list of Top-10 comedians of all time and had Amy Schumer on there. It's obvious this list was not serious but the tweet went viral and people kept sharing, retweeting, commenting, etc. But they got the engagement they wanted because people were falling for it. There are plenty of trolls out there but you retweeting and sharing their content only contributes to giving them what they want.
 
I enjoy it for the updated news cycle, the latest sneaker release, and sports updates. I engage in healthy convos from time to time. I'm not with the trolling and foolish talk.

I check out the porn sometimes too. MissbNasty, LOL

I join Twitter in 2008, and delete my account around 2012. I just got back on there prolly like a year ago or so.
