Is it me or is the Twitter hype dying down. Some of the people I follow don't seem to tweet anymore.

I think it's settling into its role as new media. Whenever anything is new like that, it bubbles up to a fever pitch, then it dies down. It's not goingto always be hot, but it's not going anywhere as a messaging and networking tool.

got a twitter acct just to see what the hype is, not really for me. breaking news, i can get it from cnn website. keep up with friends, just use fb (barelyon these days), and i dont really need to follow anybody, especially celebs, athletes, entertainers.
also, what does twitter's business model look like? how are they going to make a profit?

no, they better do it soon. word is they are asking for more than a $1B. these sites are so overvalued that is ridiculous. doesnt google lose money annuallyfrom youtube? i know they got lots of $, but that is just bad business

word. im willing to bet most of the stuff id probably read in their tweets is something ive already read on nt. i deleted mines since i didnt see the pointwhen theres facebook.
