I do this sometimes. But I do it so when you wash your hoodie the strings dont all messed up and fall out or something. This is what kids do that wear AmericanApparel sweatshirts because the strings tend to fall out when you wash it

I do this because i have broad shoulders and when i wear it open it just looksweird on me. I also flip the hoodie almost inside out to give it that high/ puffy look.
