The inspiration is obvious . I pretty much wanted the shoe to look like the vehicle with the yellow, checkers and the red for the brake lights. I thought the concept and execution of it worked really well, so I pulled the trigger. I've got checkered laces to swap in as well to complete the look.

I know we are on the 6 pics already, and I know I destroyed the 5 in my review... however, I bought the grey/gum Curry 5 tonight. Why? Because going up half a size completely changed the shoe. For some reason, my heel sits better in the heel counter and the lockdown is perfect. The gum bottom has better traction than the translucent Pi Day. Cushioning is still non-existent, but the shoe definitely fits and feels better half size up. Thank you.

Good advice on the sizings! Typically gum or rubber bottoms are better for traction/grip than translucent soles bc the latter just attracts dust like crazy. Loved the 4s haven't balled in 5s yet
