but honestly I think going to the library daily will do wonders for you. If I was jobless, I'd do that and probably get into web design or something. or teach myself some type of programming language. best to increase your human capital while "stagnant"

^ i actually went to the library the other day and borrowed a load of books, gonna brush up on my web design skills, and ms office (might as well master theseprograms, just in case). sadly, i saw a lot of folks on the computer looking at job boards and what not
i remember making this post a few months back, and still same old stuff
wake up
breakfast, check email and job search
misc house duties/errands
lunch (cant afford to eat out anymore, thats like a damn luxury
)
go out, shoot some hoops or gym (actually met some people that are also unemployed/laid off)
prepare dinner for everyone
dinner
read/tv
sleep
was thinking about taking a noncredit course at city college, but course for spring started
prob will do some volunteer, might as well do something positive
somebody put an end to my misery

yea, you should be thinking ahead of the curve. everybody is job hunting. tons of people losing jobs. not saying concede, but you'll be suprised whatyou can learn through google, wikipedia, the internet, and just messing around with stuff.
while everybody is just looking jobs, you might as well be trying to get something you can get on your resume that will put u ahead. granted im sure mostpeople's first priority is getting a job, so they can get money to pay for what they have, but I think a very close 2nd priority was to enhance your skills

No, I graduated from the University of Maryland in May 2008. Worked at the Marriott corporate headquarters in Bethesda, MD. Left to pursue a jobin Los Angeles, got screwed over, and moved back home.

That sounds like a great alternative. If I was in most of your positions they I would definitely do that.

Yeah, I actually did. I haven't had the best luck since I graduated. Got screwed out of a job (AIG went bankrupt at the time & contactat SONY faked real hard), lost my father in September, and now I'm unemployed.

wake up @ 1 or 2 (or whenever a parent starts saying "get up you cant sleep all day")
look in the fridge to disappointment (word to cucumbercool)
make some breakfast
go to my old community college work out (I dropped out but, I still use the card in the gym)
come home and hour or 2 later eat
NT, Facebook, Myspace job hunt/search online and craigslist/monster.com
sit around, maybe do dishes to look like im pulling my weight
maybe go hoop in the middle of the night!
but on weekends i still go out and and drink at friends expense (21+ get in free) i get numbers in a sidekick lx thats cut off FTL!
I still try and mack on girls but i would rather be alone in my time of broke-ness
