Unemployed NTers :: What do you do all day?

hell yea i cant find a job either ..all i have been doin is jus eating,sleeping ,and smoking every day..all..day.
its getting kinda boring...lol

Seriously, it was the most boring point of my life. I got into fitness during that period though...so instead of being overweight and shiii...i had a 10% BFand was in the best shape of my life.

I suggest you guys hit the gym.

went on an interview tuesday & found out that I didn't get the job today, so i filed for unemployment. It was funny cause shawty i'm at texted meand asked me how i was. I wanted to say "im aight just filed for unemployment..."

eat lunch/watch maury
go to the Y to play basketball
chill with friends or go to my girls house
come home and sit on the computer until 2 in the morning
its a good like but i really cant wait to go back to work in april. seasonal employment ftl

Pretty sad life you have going there....at least you're helping out your fam and are actively looking for a job.

i wouldnt exactly call that a sad life. he's more productive with his day than a lot of people i know. and at least he's looking for a jobfirst thing in the morning.


my day goes-

wake up
head to class
get something to eat after class
hit the gym
do some homework
chill with a couple freinds/my roommates
sleep

repeat.
i need to start looking for a job.

When I was unemployed, it sucked. I must have sent a ton of emails w/ my resumes for jobs and it took like seven months for me to find something. It'll betwo years in May, and although it could be better, I'm blessed to have a job during these hard times.

But during those dark days, I would pretty much be online straight hunting for jobs, writing/emailing cover letters/resumes, watching TV or listening to music,and just trying to find that job.

It does get better in someway and good luck to everyone out there on the hunt!

I used to work as a security guard making 20 an hour but i had to call it off. Now full time student and just......
Going to school at FIDM
Doing hella homework
Train my BJJ, Muay Thai, boxing, etc.....
Go to church
Play COD4 on the 360
Then back to the top.

I just got a job with the city and it's pretty sweet (and easy)...

Job security FTW.

Some of y'all gotta actually get out there and visit these places in person or use a telephone.

E-mailing resumes isn't gonna get the job done.

Be persistent once you have a lead, too! I was calling this place almost every day for updates.
