and Quick and the Dead is underrated IMO


I saw Appaloosa but I didn't really enjoy it as much as i thought i would

Tombstone (top ten all-time), any Clint Eastwood before Outlaw Josey Wales (hang 'em high; Good, bad, ugly; fistful of dollars; few dollars more; highplains drifter), once upon a time in the west (bronson), agree on quick and the dead (sharon stone, very under-rated), Lonesome Dove if you have time,Silverado, Open Range (great shootout). After these it is kind of you get what you get - good guy, bad guy, they fight, good guy wins.

and i def agree with you guys about the spaghetti westerns...


no one has said anything about sam peckinpah though.. the "wild bunch" is one of the greatest westerns ever.. and then you have "pat garrett& billy the kid"

Recently, I thought Open Range and Apaloosa were great films.
