Free HBO for twelve months if you are a comcast member, doesn't matter if you are new or have had anaccount for over xx years....this is just a promo they're doing. If you have HBO already.....i guess you can cancel it, then call the # and get thepromo....i wouldn't know about the last half though, since I never had HBO, and tried the following and it worked.

btw they said it may take up to 72 hours for the channel to show up, some reported that it showed up instantly so yea...

Call 1-888-865-3193 and the rep will ask you if you're calling for apromotion code you received in the mail. Say yes and give her the following code: HBO0703


then provide your information that your comcast account is hooked up to, and there you go!

it'll automatically cancel in 12 months on it's own, so you don't have to call and tell them to cancel it for you or nothing

man i hate comcast but they have no competition around my way. they are raising their prices again this november.

is it for comcast basic cable? how would this work

i was fed up with comcast after last week canceling cartoon network trying to make me buy a converter box
 
make sure you're calling your actual customer care...if you're calling the number that came with the mailer then you're just calling a call centerwho will forward the info to comcast to see if you qualify, hence, the 72hr wait. Cable services are usually instantly applied.
