UPDATED!!! XVII LACING POST ALSO HAS SOME XI LACING LOOK!!

hiphopcaliber - props for being creative. I hate to be a biter, but in this case, pardon my biting!

to everyone - I did it on both right and left foot of mine, but I didn't need an extra set of laces, but I only did the XVII on the outer visible part , not the inside, and I had enough lace leftover to lace to the top and use the lacelocks too. I usually like my laces to look very orderly on the top of the tongue, but in this case, the tongue is black so you can't really see the complicated lacing so much... If I see anyone else doing this, I'll assume that they are an nter

zipgoku26 - I like your idea for the '17', but I don't think they would work very well fully laced and ready to wear, but I could be totally wrong...

i laced them that way....and tried putting them on....and THEY ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT ON...

I only got 3 holes too. But on mine I made it so it says XI on the outside and IX on the inside. There's barely enough lac left to tie them up.
