"If you don't rock it….You can't rocket."

That's the motto of a northern Virginia clothing line, SNRG (synergy), a casual active clothing line that offers a fresh approach to self expression. The ability to offer customizable pieces has SNRG soaring past its competitors. Move over Puma there is a new player in town.
SNRG was created to fill a niche in the sports apparel clothing market. Owner and creator Beau Canlas executed a test line with much success, custom creating nation-specific gear for its customers. That's right, for all of us out there who can never find the right gear to rock our roots, here it is. You name the country or countries and SNRG will come up with a print, usually featuring the country's flag(s), produce and ship you your piece. You can choose from a hoodies, jackets, shorts, T-shirts and more. They are determined to win you over, so if you don't see what you want just "ask' and you might just "receive."

Boasting of being "Made in Pimppanga, born in the USA," Canlas leverages this play on the Filipino province, Pampanga, to fuse his American upbringing with his Filipino roots. His ability to bring two worlds together has fueled the line into an every-season must have. Providing apparel to this untapped market is putting Canlas on the map; you can even catch Fat Joe rocking his custom made Puerto Rican print shorts.

Canlas, a Fairfax, Va., native moved to the Philippines after completing his undergrad at George Mason University. Soon after landing a job as a television personality for the Filipino MTV-like music-video show, MYX International, Canlas soared to the top of the country's best-dressed list. Noted for his ability to fuse everyday pieces with up-and-coming trends, Canlas became synonymous with style. Moving back to the U.S. to launch his line, he spends his days getting his clothes into the "myx."

Wow, that's crazy. I go to school with the guy's sister and a bunch of my Filipino friends at GMU play for the basketball team SNRG sponsors. Had noidea he was doing big things though.
