We all know by now all Abrahamic religions were founded in Kemet tho right?
"Hotep" is a quirky moniker but the knowledge and science is built on a solid foundation.
Wrong. Abrahamic faiths were NOT founded in Kemet, and Hotep means PEACE in ancient Egyptian.

Duh, Hotep means peace...

And Yes, the tenets of Abrahamic faiths were indeed founded in Kemet, as well as monotheism.

Wrong again. The tenets of the Abrahamic faiths began with abraham, of which had nothing to do with Egypt. Yaweh and his worshippers first showed up in east africa, not Egypt.

$1.5 billion for that wack *** bs? Sheesh

Tripping.

Think for a second how many comedians that show has elevated over the past 15 years. Corey Holcomb, Katt Williams, Kevin Hart, 85 South Show, etc.

Other than actual music videos, reruns and baby mama reality television, it's the only strong urban/black brand Viacom has had for the past 15 years. Without Wild N Out and Love and Hip Hop [+ -esque shows like Black Ink], why are black people watching MTV/VH1? Aside from reruns of Fresh Prince/Martin/etc.

When they brought it back this decade they added a whole new touring and restaurant element.

And then you also gotta sue for way more than you'd be happy with getting.

Hope he gets the rights back. Would be weird for them to have to bring it back with a different name.

Speaking of which, where did MTV Sucker Free go. It's amazing rap is the biggest cultural phenomenon right now but no network has a 106 and Park/Rap City, RapFix/Sucker Free, Yo! MTV Raps type thing going on for moments and performances.

ESPECIALLY now with quarantine and no tours. But I guess Genius and Vlad and **** kinda took that role.

As a whole artists considered this shows part of the gatekeepers. Joe Budden still sounds bitter about the Bow Wow Reign of the early 2000s.

They’ll probably settle
i dont see why

the party that comes off looking bad in the public eye is the one who usually settles.
viacom isnt under any public pressure to see this go away

most major companies , and a conglomerate like viacom def has ethic and morality clauses in their contracts that can justify any termination.
to use a chris rock skit....viacom is wealthy while nick is rich....they can out last him if he takes it to court.

TV ain’t even been close to MTV since they took it off air. Bro had the last watchable show on the channel.

Last time I attempted to watch MTV it was back to back shows of ppl looking be at YouTube clips and chipmunk forced laughter. It was cringe to see how they manufacture cool.

Nick Cannon financed the show and did a joint deal. He is owed money.

Wylin Out with Terry Crews

Can you explain I'm a little confused?

Wild out or 106 park and TRL shows are gatekeeper for artists.
It’s basically the same as radio. You don’t just get played on radio. There’s other things that come into play. For example TRL/MTV could make or break a boy band. Youtube wasn’t a thing so you only saw what they showed you. If your label wasn’t putting in the marketing dollars to get you shine you weren’t getting a spot

Nick Cannon has done a full 180. I'm not sure if this was a career preservation move or if he genuinely learned something but I'm glad he wasn't one of those dumb celebrities who doubled down on stupid comments
