Visiting Dallas in a couple weeks

What are some places that I need to check out in Dallas when I visit my friend over there for a weekend? I'm open to daytime spots, some cool visuals, and of course the night scene. I was a member here for a long time until I got banned and I feel like this site would provide the best answers for me.
