Just fade the trip to the harbor or better yet, just cross all the way over the Wilson... find some spots in VA/DC

I go to Waldorf plenty of times to chill with my brothers. And yes, it sucks because there's literally nothing to do.

"The only thing to do in Waldorf is to leave Waldorf" is the truest statement anyone in this section has ever said.

The only time I go to Waldorf is when I want to eat some wings from Hooters.

.  Although I was born and raised in PG.  I bought my first house in Waldorf  2 years back and I'm still there.  But aside from going to a restaurant or maybe a bar there isn't much of a night life and it tends to be fairly lame.  However, you could check out the WOW wingery they have a bar and a few times during the week have a live band, they also show PPV fights too.  Then you have your usual TGI Fridays and then there is that spot about 2 miles south passed the mall called Halftime and they have Karoke nights, comedy shows, and live bands occasionally.  I really dont partake in the night life down there all like that myself but there are alot of folks that do believe it or not...

And that's the best thing about being in Waldoft, next to the Wal-Mart!

Nice properties out there... Close enough to the city, but far enough away from it...

My point exactly, my dude! When I first moved it was an adjustment.  But now I love it down there.  Almost every major restuarant, grocery, and other retail chain within 5  minutes.  Yeah the mall istn the greatest but it has my basic mall needs if I want to run out and cop a pair of sneaks, a video game, or a shirt or something.

Usually the folks who complain about me living in Waldorf are the same folks who arent looking to own or don't own a home.  I used to deal with 2 females who used to complain about me living in Waldorf and both of them was still living at home with their parents...my fellow homeowners understand why I made the move.  Dont get me wrong if I was still that young 22 year old fresh out of college partying and getting drunk every weekend I would hate living there.

I dont know, it may be but St.Marys is a little too far me.  Waldorf is pretty much my limit in regards to distance I'm willing to live from the city.

St.Mary's, lexington park to be exact, kind of reminds me of the city a lil bit.

Not a bad place to live at all. The night life isn't all that but, if you know the right people theres always somthing going on.

I stay in Lexington Park and it's horrible. There is nothing to do here.

Altho I concur with this statement.. I do understand Madmans stance on living. I live in Gainesville.  The Virginia Version of Chuck Countys Waldorf.  Living away from the city but close enough to it in order to have a nice home and fine schools for the kids is important. (Not sure about Chuck County Schools).  I live out here with a bunch of Country bumpkins and everyone in THIS area and surrounding. thinks going to Centreville is doing something.  People in Centreville think going to Fairfax is doing something and the people in Fairfax think going to Arlington is doing something.
Of course Arlington folks can enjoy themselves there OR go to DC as I do to skip over ALL that poo poo stuff.

But its always funny that all the Waldorf folks say how much Waldorf sucks.. lol.. if thats the case.. MOVE.

Truth again. I go to Lexington Park every month, if not more, and it's more boring than Waldorf. Sorry bro, you're better off just going to DC.
