Week 10 BCS/AP/Coaches Polls

i dont really have hate for Kansas. i do not think they are the 5th best team in the country. i do think they deserve their ranking so far. i do think their D is legit. i do not think their overall team is up to par with the teams ranked around them. i do not think they would match up very well in a BCS game.

but that's just how i feel, its the same as people who say OSU would get sliced up if they played in the NC this year, it's their opinion

it all comes down to this... the point of every game it to win, that is exactly why i have no beef against KU being in the top 5... its as simple as that... I cant remember any teams being jumped over this year in the top 5, there have been some instances that happen lower in the polls 10-15 15-20 etc...all im saying is that KU and tOSU did what other teams could not... there is no perfect system in college football and will not be one, but the next best thing would be a playoff...until then ppl are always going to compare SOS, and team A played team B, and beat them by 40, but team B lost to team C so team C is better than all of them.. etc... its the same thing every year... as a buckeye fan I will be the first to admit that this years schedule was weaker then i can remember in a long time.... but its a good year to have a "weaker" schedule then normal, with a inexperenced QB, and after replaing some great talent.. .. but last years schedule was a rough one... but in the end , still lost to Florida.. so go figure....

The only Southern Team Tressel has beaten in his career was Miami, and that one was one questionable call away from going to the Canes.

If tOSU plays Oregon, they'll win. Tressel is much better than Belotti at X's and O's and he'll figure out how to beat the Duck defense. Gang Green it is not.

But if they play LSU, they'll get their butts handed to them. Again.

Kansas is good, but they're good like Kansas State used to be good... they play a bunch of nobody's and go undefeated, and then lose to 7-4 Purdue in a BS bowl game.

Anybody else not like the Harris Poll factoring into the BCS? I mean for goodness sakes, they have Hawaii at 10. And they always rate USC higher than any other poll.

When you look at the teams above the Jayhawks right now they are all suppose to be there. KU was picked to finish in the lower half of the North and total wins right around .500 or better. Last year we went 6-6, won one game on the road and had fourth quarter after fourth quarter collapse. Now fast forward this team is like night and day. We don't turn the ball over and we don't commit penalties. Do I think we could beat LSU, Ohio State or Oregon 4 out of 5 times, no. But in todays age of college football when a team like Appy State can beat Michigan or Stanford can beat USC why can't these very Jayhawks compete with OU, LSU, Ohio State or Oregon.

Why so many Hawaii haters??

We are a SMALL Island in the middle of the pacific.. We get NO major recruits at all..Our entire athletics department budget is what LSU and USC makes per game.Smallest student section in NCAA. (less than 2000 seats) We got Colt Brennan cause of his @#%$ up at Colorado.. This is the 1 year where we arent the laughing stock of college football. yea our schedule is cupcake (tOSU is also) but we HAVENT lost. Only Kansas and tOSU are the other undefeated..These next 2 games (Fresno and @Nevada) will be a huge test.. and Boise.. wowzer Game of the year so far. Lets not look past washington also at the end. They did beat Boise.. Now if we win out.. we are IN a BCS. Deal with it. get ready to see alot of Rubba Slippas, Fanny Packs, and Cases of Henikien making its way to either New Orleans or Arizona.. Chee Whoo!

What sucks about Mizzou is that if they beat Kansas, they will have to play Oklahoma again.
I think they can beat OK, they just need Tony Temple to be healthy soo they can run the ball.

I still dont see Kansas at a top 10 team at all........They WILL loose to Mizzou.......IF (and thats a big if) they beat mizzou, never in a million years will Kansas beat an Oklahoma with half the talent.
