Going to Chinook this Saturday morning for 11 snakeskin lows. Should I be there at least before 6am pretty much? I'm only a sz 9 so... Are there any other malls that will carry the 11's?
My buddy said while everyone was camping at Chinook for the Gamma 11's, it's the exact opposite at Sunridge. He literally walked in there at 9 am and easily copped a size 10.5. Can't be so sure if true but he showed me the receipt. So you might wanna give it a go there instead of Chinook.
Anyone hear of any J’s in store restocks? All this talk about NDC has me wondering. I'll make some calls to my local FL and Champs and let u guys know if anyone's interested. I saw a local shop in T.O restock gammas toda, to bad I'm in wpg.
I second this. Nike store in Toronto seemed pretty corrupt to me too. I don't even bother try for anything in Canada. I try to get everything sent tot he US and then have it collected when family is coming over or vice versa.
Tried to cop online via nikestore twitter what a gong show couldn't even get a pair to trade into like 5 mins they were all ghost time to only cater to real sneaker heads like I refuse to pay 450 plus I get why ppl do it like to make a quik buck but damb just killing the market like sweet you just worked your *** off for 3.fifty a hr.
Probably heading to Chinook in Calgary Saturday morning. sz12 for me. I am not going to go tooo early, I'm thinking 7-730ish. Hope to get my pair. If not I don't no biggie
What are you looking to pick up? If lows do you know how pairs are at Chinook? In Winnipeg it seems pretty limited.
Called Chinook FL this morning. They said they'll have 3 FSR's but when the Gamma 11's came out, people are lining up the night before and these are Concord Lows so 7 might be too late if you really want a pair. Champs said they still have no clue how many pairs they'll get but I'm assuming it's gonna be close to how much FL is getting. Sport Chek said they're not getting them (no surprise here).
FL @ Market doesn't get any releases like this anymore, do they? I lived in Varsity for a year and after the CG XI's, they didnt seem to get anything other than team Jordan stuff.
No clue. But FL Sunridge gets crazy love from JB. They got almost the same amount of pairs of Gammas as FL Chinook did. That's where I got Black Cement 4's a week after its release.
I find it's so hit or miss. Sometimes they get the same amount sometimes they get 1/2 the amount. Certainly easier to cop there vs Chinook though. I don't even bother with either anymore, not enough love from the managers and to many clowns without jobs camping the night before...
Has anyone had any luck with sites online? NDC doesn't work for us up here so I'm thinking Champs , EB and FL would be the places to go. Most spots like Livestock do in store first then put it up on the sites so that doesn't help. Any help would be appreciated.
Most of us near the border just ship them stateside and go pick them up, in which case NDC works wonders.
