It's okay to gas a little when its established that she's actually feeling you.


But to come out the gates gassing a girl you barely know and has shown zero interest in you is a no-no. Play it cool, be a man, and when she lets you know or gives you some signals....then it's okay to compliment her to reel her in and seal the deal.

I wouldn't really compliment a guy unless I meant it.

The Italian guy that I like has never complimented me.  He doesn't know I like him either.

But the arts & crafts guy would compliment me all the time.  I guess he liked the way I look, but I could have done without all that since he turned out to be a liar.

I'm asking because a girl just started dating this guy, and she's asking people how to help her raise his self-esteem.  I advised her against it.
