What are you currently learning about?

It's fascinating and mind-boggling at the same time

Everyday I gain more knowledge and understanding in how to deal with illogical, irrational human beings.

It’s like everyday is a bigger test on how to be the bigger person

And I’m also learning how to start iv’s on pediatric patients

Angular + TypeScript + a vendor framework built on those two.

Also learning in my 6th month as a developer that things will move on you fast like a *****.

The six months prior I barely even got to a point where I knew what I was doing on a different vendor framework, that used different technologies.

About my body and it's relationship to food. Like really paying attention to how what I eat affects my body.

Learning how to garden outdoors. Building a soil bed this week and have a bunch of vegetables/herbs I planted from seed indoors last week. My cucumbers just started sprouting up.

I’ve been growing Cannabis indoors for about 3 years now and finally have a backyard so I figure if I can grow some fire weed then vegetables should be easy.

I successfully wrote a SQL join with only the columns and data I wanted limited with multiple filters

I'm able to do so in snowflake and a postgres environment

I've learned where all of these things come from and how they end up there too

FEELS GOOD

SQL is easy - just have to understand the relationships between the tables. If you’re good at Excel, then it won’t take long. Just writing queries.

Currently in the process of learning the Agile methodology, working on the remaining of my certs.

Picked up a book about the quantum revolution, bio molecular revolution and computer revolution.

Real Estate Investing. taking up most of my time with all these classes and meetup groups. sad almost

Dog breeding. Going to breed Rottweilers and Bully Pitbulls. I love animals. Always wanted to be a zoologist.

I feel like I’ve outgrown shoe collecting, as a hobby. Time to take on new hobbies and challenges.

People who think that they are qualified to speak upon Blackness, simply because they have asian and european ancestry. I am learning this right here on niketalk. They are calling it being mixed. That 'ish is hilarious.

I would love to learn this.

At work: G/L's, how open transaction items are managed, and double-book accounting for my project

At home: Nothing, I need to change this

Man for some reason doing joins in a query makes my head hurt, I use the visual designer for the purpose of seeing and creating my joins and then copy that over into a new query to do the rest

They make perfect sense when I can physically see them but doing them in my head just doesn't work out
