What does this newspaper cartoon about obama mean to you?

sorry if already posted hope this doesnt get locked either.From the New York Post...
A newspaper that published a cartoon appearing to portray Barack Obama. What does it really mean though? A joke or a serious argument of our society intoday's news?

Comparing Mr. Obama to a monkey. Or that the stimulus bill is so bad that its like it was written by a monkey.
 
It means the post is what the post is - ie. the NY Post is a piece of tabloid garbage - only they would run a stupid cartoon like this.
 
technically obama ain't write it he signed it. so it wouldnt be about him. prolly refering to the nature of the bill itself.

People are reaching hard with this one. The protect-Obama sect is adangerous group to mess with. They'll brand you a racist and then it is overtown. I don't see any reference to Obama in the original cartoon. But itis a political cartoon meant to shock-and-talk and it did just that.
 
Yea the way it looks is bad but it was supposed to be mocking the story about Travis the chimp that was shot down and comparing that with the way our gov'tis trying to fix the economy
