What is a "Unk"?

Ok, I am born and raised in the DMV area, but I have never knew what a "Unk" mean. i asked people if they drink 40oz Olde English and they say, "Ewww, Unks drink that stuff". What is a Unk???

Interesting question but i will play along i guess. Most of the ones I know treat me normal but most are obviously are always lookin for handouts too.
