What shoe model is this?

Hi all,

I've been trying for a while to find the name of a specific Nike model that my wife used to wear. I think they might be discontinued, but maybe they can be found if only I knew the name. I have found a few pics of them from when she wore them.

I think she first bought them in 2007 or something like that.

Any help would be much appreciated

Looks like a Blazer Mid MTR.

Aha. Thanks. From googling that seems right. What does MTR stand for by the way? And does anyone know why they discontinued them? My wife loved them, but we haven't been able to find them for quite some time now.

On this MTR version the sole/midsole seems to be different from regular Blazers.
The other questions: no idea. Only Nike knows.
