what team shoe to get?

aight so I'm looking for a team shoe for my school this year. Last year we had the air max elite TB's and just had a terrible experience as almost half of the team had sprained their ankles by the end of the year. So basically what we're looking for is something with good ankle support and responsive cushioning preferably zoom air or something similar that will last us the season.

^^^the elite line this year is upgraded. all the shoes in the line now lace all the way up to the top of the shoe for the ankle support you would expect from a basketball shoe. it may be something to look into.
