As some people know that checked out my Original 1985 Jordan's thread, My Dad just passed away and left some shoes that he felt were classics IE Original Jordan's.

Well I came across these as well. My Dad was born in 1943 and these shoes were first released in 1962. My Dad was a huge basketball player and played college ball in Massachusetts.

I want to believe these are ORIGINAL or pretty damn close to being a 1962 release but I cannot find ANYTHING about them online. Does anyone know the year run of these Chuck Taylors? My Mom said they are my Dad's shoes from College which would put them right around 1962, but I can't guarantee.

Yessir, Those are definitely from around that time. Taylors dont come with a players name tag anymore due to the fact that they arent considered b ball friendly now a days. I would technically call these a "older" or "vintage" pair other than "original" due to the fact that Taylors first released in the 20's
