What's up with my metallic 1s?

what's up niketalk fam, I recently purchased these 2001 metallic ones from a legit seller on eBay everything seems to be right the box and etc.but they're not numbered out of 50,000 they're numbered out of 25,000 does anyone have an explanation for this? And oh yea the seller is based in Japan

I don't know why it's like that, the pair I picked up at Foot Locker back in '01 was also out of 25,000. This was in Canada, so perhaps international releases were out of 25k?

yea I just did some research and found out that 50,000 were released in the us and 25,00 overseas
