Which Kobe shoe has the most zoom air?

the last two kobes (4 and 5) were really emphasized on light weight, so minimal zoom air. they were also designed to be as low to the ground as possible, so thinner zoom air. i would say the first 2 kobes had the most. they had forefoot and heel, but thats just a guess.

By volume of air, i guess it's going to be somewhere in 1 - 3, but some implementations of Zoom feel different from others.

IMO, Kobe 1 is a little bit 'spongy'
2 feels very springy and responsive.

Never owned 3, so can't comment on it.

4, 5 you can rule out for obvious reasons.

No Kobe line shoe has ever had full length cushioning, the ZK3 features heel and forefoot zoom bags which are very low to the ground and very firm. There is no softness whatsoever on the bags, not the springy and mushy feel that you get on the ZK1.

Maybe the specs show full length zoom in the ZK3's but I agree with Gggggas ... I own them and played a lot of ball in em, I was always disappointed with the cushioning.  I doubt the specs are right, especially after reading a few dissection topics on here.

NDC is false a lot of times when it comes to cushioning.

i have kobe 3 def. heel and forefoot zoom, not full length.

i actually took out the insole and ran my fingers along the footbed and felt both the individual bags.

cushioning is very firm, not mushy at all. i dont even like running in these cuz the heel cush is almost non existent.

but they are VERY low to the ground. lower then they look

i have worn Kobe 1,2,3,4

and the most Zoom cushioning is the KOBE 1.. walk in them and it feels like there are pillows on your feet (my all time fav shoes) they are soft, yet firm enough to be responsive...

I agree with the ZK1 being awesome in the cushioning area.  The forefoot is firm, not soft like as in zoom BB soft, but very responsive.  The heel  cushioning is real soft, but a lot of that comes from the way the outsole is put together.  I always liked how smooth they felt when running.  On my 5th pair actually, and still my favorite, although the V's if I can get a pair, may take over.

QFT...they feel stiff and not responsive to me compared to the other kobes in the line...the Vs are feeling like that right now to me as well...i like the IVs out of all of them, the 2 are good but i think IVs are a great at this point.
