Who Takes the Last Playoff Spot in the East?

I really like the way the Bobcats are put together right now, good young talent, balanced with veterans who know how to play and make their teammates better(Bell+Diaw are really underrated on both ends of the floor). Okafor is a presence on the inside on both ends if his PG's are feeding him. I just reallylike this team.

And I want the Bucks in purely on the fact that they're my favorite East team.

Knicks - I just don't see it. I look at that team and they are missing too many pieces to make a sustained playoff push. For instance, a legit big. A "star" player who will get calls. And most importantly, a total lack of defense. On top of that, they are trying to juggle so many different players. Trying to squeeze Curry back in down the stretch? I mean really.

Bulls - Way too inconsistent. Deng out. Hinrich playing like %$%*. And the rook not being the savior.

Bobcats - Would be a great redemption song for Larry Brown. They have a great roster (playoff-tested vets leading the way, stud jack-of-all-trades in Wallace, TWO young pgs who can both shoot and pass, a defensive-minded big man, a 3 point specialist). But it's tough to see them pulling this off. Only because LB can't be THAT good can he? Seriously, I said they'd be good NEXT year. Not this year. But if not the Nets, then the Cats would be my next pick.

Bucks - Would love to see RJ get back to the playoffs. But no Bogut and no Redd. Plus, Prince has slowed down. And Luke is banged up. I don't see them pulling this off. Even with Charlie V doing his thing every night.

IMO it won't matter...because each team would still have severe problems to address for next season. It's a different situation than ATL from lastyear...that was an up and coming team. I don't see any of those 8th seed scramblers in the East as up and coming....pause.

Bump... The race is heating up.

Oh, and.....

My apologies man.

He's doing his thing, but I guess I just expected more from him.

Shoot, that applies to the Bulls period. I expected a lot more from them....

Knicks are likely out of it now.

As I previously said, I would like to see the Bobcats get the final spot.
