Why Are Asian People Untouchable On NT? Please Don't Lock, Serious Discussion

For the first time in my life I was called a racist yesterday. Why? Because I said there was no such thing as a "fine Asian female".

Now I don't understand how that is racist or how any of the many posters that reported that found it offensive. It's called a preference people. I've literally never found an Asian chick attractive. This automatically makes me a racist?

Over the years I've seen the posts about Asian comments being off limits and to be careful when doing so from other posters, but I never experienced it. Now that I have, I feel it's time to bring light to the situation.

If you said there was "no such thing as a fine asian woman" I can see how that would be offensive.

If you said that "you have never found an asian woman attractive" that wouldn't be a problem.

It's a generalization I guess... so the only thing I'd advise is to try to be a bit more politically correct and say, "I prefer this race to this race". But do you.

I don't think it's racist but very ignorant to say you don't find people who happen to be from certain parts of the world or has ancestry in these parts of the world unattractive. Just like I find people who say they only find one "race" attractive. Plus I think Promise Phan from those youtube makeup videos is very attractive and she's what would be described as asain. I totally get what you're saying OP, you have preferences and that's okay. However, rather than saying, "I don't find Asian women attractive" you said that "there is no such thing" which is completely different. It's all about the way that you word things, and unfortunately wording things in the wrong way can get you in trouble.

Anyway, you're crazy. Asian women are beautiful.
