Why do some men think long nails are acceptable?

I hate having long nails, I used to bite them but then got out of the habit. The only purpose i would ever let 1 nail grow for is gutting a dutch. The longpinky nail is for the Yazz.

I know if you have a long pinky nail you might be using coke. I always keep mine short because it's not fun to play basketball and have them crack.

I have to keep me nails semi-long, like nowhere near long just a big more than normal
I start to bleed instantly if I cut my nails like everyone else does

There are a lot of reasons why someone might have long fingernails, some cultural, some practical. Right-handed guitar players sometimes let one fingernailgrow long on the right strumming hand, for example.

I used to work with a guy who keeps both his pinky nails long. He's a software engineer and he does it so he can reach the Control and Enter keys easier.

To each his own I say.
