Eminem in his beginner state with a underground label, not really going to break this one down since it wasnt a major release considering he sold albums out the trunk of his car, but it had some impressive tracks like "Tonite", "Infinite" and "Backstabber". Alot of the heavy hitters in hip-hop tend to show their absolute best work in their first album, not certainly the case here, but all the potential was there. Considered by many an Underground Classic.

VERDICT: B-

GREEN: Above Average/Excellent
WHITE: Listenable/Good
(skits are left as is)

Eminem comes out firing on all cylinders. He expresses his feelings about his once loved ones, his fans, boy/girl groups. Songs such as "Kim" and "Stan" frightenly send chills down your spine. This is Eminem at his finest, at his core, spitting straight from his gut with no regards for anyone who might take offense.
FINAL VERDICT: A+

Its pretty obvious Eminem has somewhat matured after MMLP, alot of songs now hold more subject matter, but its almost as if he barely budged since his last album.
FINAL VERDICT: A

3.     "Never Enough"

17.     "Crazy in Love"
18.     "One Shot 2 Shot"
19.     "Final Thought"
20.     "Encore/Curtains Down"

The album Eminem will get bagged about for his how entire life. Alot of average songs on here, but the ones that stand out, truley do stand out. This album to Eminem is what Nastradamus is to Nas, what Kingdome Come is to Jay-Z, not the worst music ever heard, but compared to their previous work, its indeed a dud.
FINAL VERDICT: C

Relapse_%28album%29.jpg

1.     "Dr. West"

17.     "Beautiful"
18.     "Crack a Bottle"
19.     "Steve Berman"
20.     "Underground"

4 year hiatus and Em finally jumps back in the lab.Considering I have only spun this album about 5 times, its sill way to early for a verdict. Some songs may grow one me over time, some may not. But what can be noted is that he stuck too his old roots and the taste Encore left in our mouths can now be washed away.
FINAL VERDICT: B-

eminem-recovery-420x0.jpg

1. "Cold Wind Blows"
2. "Talkin' 2 Myself"
3. "On Fire"
4. "Won't Back Down"
5. "W.T.P."
6. "Going Through Changes"
7. "Not Afraid"
8. "Seduction"

12. "25 to Life"
13. "So Bad"
14. "Almost Famous"
15. "Love the Way You Lie"
16. "You're Never Over"

This right here is leaps and bounds better than Relapse, we wont ever hear that "Marshal Mathers" tone again but this is pretty close. I have to give it more spins but Ill loosely rate it anyway. I am mad there's no Ken Kaniff or steve berman skits .

FINAL VERDICT: B/B+

7 Albums
3 Definite Classics(possibly 4)
Countless Grammys
Million sold within a week
Single handedly outshined rappers on their own tracks
Un-matchable wordplay, good story telling, raw lyrics.
Probably the more entertaining skits I've heard, Paul and Steve Berman constantly bugging Em, and Ken Kaniff adding a homosexual spin to Eminem's music is comedic gold.

If Marshall Mathers doesnt have a seat in your first cinco, your credibility for hip hop might be tarnished.

Sue me

Em skill wise is better than ANYONE.

that doesnt mean he makes good music tho. top 6.

do yall listen to em in your cars? LIke with a system up loud?

Even though you actually backed your claim with true knowledge and actual points I'm so sick of these unoriginal threads in NT Music I dont care enough toagree or disagree
so here's a picture of halle berry

You lost me rating Eminem show higher than the Slim Shady LP which is his best album to date IMO. I thought Eminem Show was a solid B-.

Eminem Stan's are potent at what they do...They are the original "Stans" so you gotta give em credit at the same time.
