Granted his subject matter isn't for everyone, his actual rapping skills are damn good

Sounds like he bit eminem's flow.
But he is important in hip hop. Parents just don't understand is a classic. Nightmare on my street is big just because of what it is. And summertime is timeless and will forever be the official song of summer.
I think his hip hop contributions are kind of overlooked because of how Fresh prince of Bel-Air and the movie career overshadow them. But look how big those things are. FPoBA is a legendary show and he has blockbuster movies under his belt.
This dude has done it BIG over his career.
But back on topic- I dont care for this or his current rapping.

Man Will Smith needs to drop one single just for old time's sake. I'd rather listen to him on Hot 100 radio stations than some of the crap they got today that gets called Hip-hop
