Most of the people who complain about vista have p4's and 512 mb of ram

I'm running Intel Core 2 Duo and 4GB of RAM.

I just don't see what the whoop is besides the interface. And I'd prefer running XP with 1 GB over Vista with 2 GB. That's just me though.

What about your video card? how slow is your ram? there's alot of factors..

i've never had any problems with vista.

It should be in the Object Dock options but you can also change it by right clicking the task bar and clicking properties and then click auto hidetask bar.
