got mine taken out over spring break.

worst experience. got 4 wisdom tooth pulled out in one sitting. pain lasted for a week, and bleeding a lot. i had a hard time swallowing solid foods. thempercocet weren't working.

what kind of meds are the best to take after the surgery?


I want the meds that will put me on cloud 9. Liquid Vicodin sounds the best. Do I just request it after the surgery?

Alright it seems as if the intense pain is starting to leave. Now I'm just getting a dull sharp pain every now and then that Tylenol takes care of. ThankGod cause I was about to rob a CVS pharmacy.

Percocet (sp?) or Vicodin will help with the pain but make sure you take an anti-inflammatory (like Motrin) to help with post-op swelling. Youdon't have to request the pain killer but you my have to request for it to be in liquid form though. Oh, and you might want to ask the Doc before thesurgery too...

Ice the crap out of your face. I didn't feel a thing or have any issues when I took out 3 of mine.
